Cookies and tools on this website

amornphat.com uses two types of cookie. You choose for yourself in the bar at the bottom of the screen, and you can change your mind at any time from the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of any page. Type 2 is off to begin with. Please note: when you open any page, your browser contacts Google to load the analytics tool, and Google may receive basic technical information about the visit without cookies, even before you give permission. We do not know the full detail of what Google receives and keeps in that state. Google Analytics cookies are set only if you allow them.

  1. Essential (always on): remembers your cookie answer on your own device (in your browser's localStorage) for 12 months, so we do not have to ask you every time. It sends nothing anywhere.
  2. Helps us learn: Google Analytics 4 from Google (Google LLC, United States, and its affiliates) counts which pages are opened, when, on what kind of device, browser and language, and from roughly which area, so that we can see which content is useful and what to improve. Google Analytics uses an identifier kept in a cookie to tell whether visits belong together. The provider states that it does not log your full IP address for us to see. We do not send your name, email address or anything else that identifies you directly into this tool. The tool loads with the page but starts in a "not consented" state (Google Consent Mode). Google Analytics cookies and analytics storage are activated only after you press "Sounds good" or switch this type on yourself. We have switched off Google Signals and personalised advertising.

We have set up our Google Analytics account so that this data is not used for personalised advertising. This site shows no advertising and has no tool that recommends content based on your behaviour. We keep data in Google Analytics for the period we have set in the account, no more than 14 months.

Data sent abroad: the data in type 2 is sent to Google, which may process it outside Thailand, including in the United States, where data protection standards may differ from Thailand's. The provider describes its safeguards in its own terms. Full analytics data is sent only with your consent, and you can withdraw it at any time. The basic technical information your browser sends to Google when a page opens (for example your browser's IP address, the page opened and the browser type) may be sent before you choose, and may likewise reach servers outside Thailand.

Our basis: your consent, for the cookies and analytics in type 2. For the basic contact with Google when a page opens, we regard it as needed for the analytics tool to work as you choose, and we limit it to basic technical information. If you are not comfortable with this, contact us at business@nextstep.co.th. Type 1 is needed to remember your own answer. You may decline, and every page reads exactly the same.

If you are under 20, please ask a parent or guardian to choose. This site is written for adults, and we do not intend to collect children's data.

Withdrawing consent

Select "Cookie settings" at the bottom of the page and switch off any type. Withdrawing is as easy as giving consent. After you withdraw, the site tells Google not to keep analytics cookies or analytics data for later visits (your browser still contacts Google to load the tool when a page opens, as explained above). Data sent before then stays in Google Analytics for the period we have set. You can ask us to help delete it at business@nextstep.co.th (where we can find your data in the system). You can also clear cookies in your own browser.

Web server access logs

Like most websites, our web hosting provider automatically records access logs: IP address, date and time, the page requested, and browser type. This keeps the site secure and lets us fix technical problems. We do not use these logs to identify you or to follow you across websites, and they are kept for the period set by the provider.

The share buttons

On a phone, the "Send to a parent you know" button opens your device's own share sheet. The LINE and Facebook buttons are ordinary links, and nothing is sent until you press one. After that, what you share is governed by the policy of LINE or Facebook. The "Copy link" button copies only to your own device.

What we collect when you contact us

This website has no place to enter information. We receive your information in one way only: when you contact the company yourself, for example by emailing business@nextstep.co.th or calling the office. What we receive is your name, email address, telephone number (if you give it), and the message you write. Please send only what is needed for what you want to discuss.

How we use it

We use the information you send us only to reply to you and follow up on what you contacted us about. Visit data (if you allow it) is used only to understand how useful the site is to readers and to improve it. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with others for marketing. Inside the company it reaches only the team that looks after your matter.

How long we keep it

We keep the information you send us only as long as needed for the matter you contacted us about, and no more than 2 years after that matter ends. Visit data in Google Analytics is kept for the period we have set in the account, no more than 14 months. After that we delete it or make it impossible to identify you, except where the law requires us to keep it longer.

Links to other websites

This site links to other websites in our group, namely nextstep.tv and doxzilla.com, and to outside sites such as LINE and Facebook. Once you follow a link, what that site collects is governed by its own policy. Links to our group sites carry a parameter that tells the destination only that you came from amornphat.com. We add no personal information to the link.

Your rights

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask for a copy, ask us to correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its use, or receive it in a readable format or have it transferred, and you can withdraw any consent you have given at any time. Email business@nextstep.co.th and tell us what you need. We will reply promptly and within 30 days. If you believe we have handled your information improperly, you may complain to the Personal Data Protection Committee Office of Thailand or the Expert Committee under the Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562.
